#ThrowbackThursday | AUCHI POLY 1996

Captured in this classic photograph from 1996 is a moment frozen in time one that reflects the early days of leadership, brotherhood, and legacy. Pictured here is a young and determined Mr. Henry Idiagbonya, then a student at the prestigious Federal Polytechnic, Auchi. Unbeknownst to many at the time, he was already on the path to becoming one of the pillars of the Aviary Club of Nigeria (ACN).

Fast forward to today, Mr. Henry Idiagbonya serves as the South South Regional Secretary of the Aviary Club of Nigeria, bringing with him decades of experience, integrity, and passion. But long before this national recognition, his journey was rooted deeply in the chapter system, having served two successful tenures as Chapter Secretary of Edo Aviary where he sharpened his leadership skills and commitment to service.

Mr. Henry is a man of many talents and wears many hats with distinction:

  • Certified Professional Builder

  • Seasoned Professional Writer

  • CEO, Hentra Construction Agency

  • Dedicated Human Rights Activist

  • Active Member, ACN Media Network

  • Seasoned Politician & People’s Advocate

Truly, a jack of many trades and a master of them too!

Standing proudly beside him in this iconic photo are other remarkable individuals who made their mark during those golden years:

  • Late Mr. Tony (far left)

  • Late Mr. Gerald

  • Mr. Emovon

  • Mr. Mike

  • Late Tolu, the beloved elder brother of Mr. Mike

Their time at Auchi Polytechnic was more than just academics it was the birth of lifelong bonds, unshakable values, and a brotherhood that would influence communities for decades to come.

If this photograph brings back memories or you recognize a familiar face, tag yourself, share your thoughts, or leave a tribute in honor of these legends who helped shape what the Aviary Club is today.

Let’s honor the past as we soar toward the future.
