Speech by Dr. Olumide Fafore

On the Occasion of Aviary Club of Nigeria Days – South Africa

It is with great honor and heartfelt pride that I stand before you today as we continue to mark the Aviary Club of Nigeria Days a time not only of celebration but of reflection, unity, and purposeful action.

In every chapter around the world, this season reminds us of who we are not just by name, but by nature. We are Avians guided by vision, uplifted by brotherhood, and bound by an unwavering commitment to make the world around us better than we found it.

To our vibrant and growing community here in South Africa, I bring a message of encouragement and of challenge. As Avians, it is our duty not just to wear the name, but to live the values. To carry the banner of our movement with dignity, humility, and bold service. And what better way to do this than through charity a legacy our founders etched deep into the foundation of this great club.

Let us remember, charity is not about abundance. It is about compassion. It is about seeing the needs in our local communities and responding with empathy and action. Whether through food drives, school support, assistance to children's homes, or simply giving our time and attention to those who feel forgotten, every act counts.

As we celebrate this week, I urge each and every Avian in South Africa:

  • Stand tall in who you are.

  • Celebrate with pride and purpose.

  • Make a mark in your city that reflects the heart of the Aviary Club.
Let our presence here in South Africa be known, not by noise, but by impact. Not by show, but by service.

Together, let us write a new chapter in our story, one that will inspire generations of Avians to come.

Happy Aviary Club of Nigeria Days!
May our wings never grow weary, and may our legacy never fade.

Thank you, and God bless you all.
