ACN: A Movement of Purpose, Unity, and Transformation

Ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters,
Warm greetings to you all in the enduring spirit of unity, shared purpose, and the transformative power of collective vision.

Today marks a defining moment, as we come together to present to the world the Aviary Club of Nigeria (ACN), not just as an organization, but as a global force for good. What began in the corridors and classrooms of Nigerian tertiary institutions has grown into an international brotherhood, with over 40 grassroots units active across the globe.

Founded on July 19, 1996, the Aviary Club of Nigeria emerged from bonds of friendship formed during campus life , friendships that have matured into a noble movement committed to social justice, humanitarian service, and personal excellence.

Our Vision:

To inspire excellence in every field of human endeavor.
To uplift the downtrodden.
To challenge injustice and stand boldly for what is right.

Our Core Aims and Objectives:

  1. Empowerment – We support our members socially, economically, and politically.

  2. Excellence – Every Avian is encouraged to reach their full potential.

  3. Support Systems – We create networks of economic opportunity and moral support.

  4. Service to Society – Through acts of charity and community impact, we serve with humility.

  5. Discipline & Integrity – Discretion, brotherliness, and personal discipline are non-negotiable values.

Over the years, the Aviary Club has led impactful initiatives: from poverty alleviation and humanitarian aid to medical outreaches and advocacy against injustice and tyranny. We are not merely a club; we are a brotherhood, a family, and a voice for change.

Membership & Structure:

Membership is open to graduates of recognized tertiary institutions who were part of student communities prior to the banning of campus-based associations. Our membership process is guided by structure and integrity:

  • Application through a formal membership form.

  • Verification via the Elders’ Council and Supreme Council.

  • Fee payment in local currency.

  • Formal induction into the global Avian family.

For honorary members, exceptional individuals may be inducted at special events. While they are celebrated within our ranks, they are not eligible for elective positions.

To be a recognized member:

  • One must be registered with a local Aviary unit.

  • Recommended by at least three active members.

  • Complete a thorough verification process.

Our Strength:

Our strength lies not in our numbers alone, but in the integrity, commitment, and discipline that each member upholds. The bond of brotherhood we share is stronger than distance, deeper than time, and rooted in truth and loyalty.

Brothers. Sisters. Friends.

This is the Aviary Club of Nigeria:
A movement born of truth.
A community built on purpose.
A legacy of unity and excellence.

We are Avians. We rise together. And we never fail.

Thank you.

 Engr. Olusegun Olusakin
