IDENTITY: A SYMBOL OF OUR ORIGINALITY AND THE PRIDE OF TRUE AVIANS
By Brown Eredia

From the moment a child is born, one of the first virtues instilled is the ability to recognize and affirm their identity, starting with a name and a family connection that gives them a surname. Just as identity is vital in everyday life, so it is in the Aviary Club of Nigeria.

In our club, identity is more than a formality, it is a sacred tradition and rite of passage. It confirms one’s originality, image, status, and deep-rooted connection to the brotherhood. Declaring your identity in the Aviary Club is not merely an introduction, it is a proud affirmation that you are not just a member, but a bearer of our legacy, values, and discipline. It is a living symbol of who we are.

In our brotherhood, identification is everything. It is how we recognize our own amidst a crowd, how we connect generations, how we uphold the essence of the fraternity, and how we preserve our heritage. The act of identifying oneself in a manner only known to true Avians is both a bond and a badge of authenticity. It is our first stamp of belonging, and we carry it till the end of time.

But as time evolved and our brotherhood grew beyond borders, touching continents and impacting lives across the globe, our leaders, in their wisdom and foresight, deemed it necessary to establish a structure that would preserve the integrity of our identity.

Thus, the Aviary Identification Number (AIN) was born, a unique and traceable tag assigned to every true Avian. The AIN is more than just an Hexadecimal number, it is a symbol of authenticity, accountability, and belonging. It reinforces our commitment to unity, order, and the enduring values that define the Aviary Club of Nigeria.

This development was not born out of mere formality, but from necessity. As the Aviary spreads her wings far and wide, the need to distinguish between mere claimants and genuine hatchlings becomes increasingly pressing.

The Aviary Identification Number (AIN) serves as a shield against impersonation, a tool for accountability, and a living record of each member’s journey and contribution to the flight. It ensures that every Airlord remains visible in the Aviary skies and that no true Avian is ever lost in the cloud of confusion.

Through the AIN, we uphold the sanctity of our identity, preserve our legacy, and safeguard the future of the brotherhood. It is not just a number, it is a mark of truth, trust, and tribute to the creed we soar by.

Why is identification important?

A structured identification system improves communication and helps leadership reach specific members or groups efficiently, especially across branches or regions.

With formal identification, the club can prevent impersonation, misrepresentation, or misuse of its name and platform by unauthorized individuals.

Identification helps maintain organized records of membership growth, achievements and aids proper planning for events.

In the Aviary Club of Nigeria, keying into the AIN system is more than just a call to action, it is a solemn responsibility. It signifies a member’s willingness to embrace their place in the structure, to own their legacy, and to stand tall among brothers with nothing to hide.

To claim your AIN is to declare with conviction:

I am an Avian.

I was inducted.

I am proud to be counted.

It is a bold affirmation of identity, loyalty, and pride in the flight we share. Through the AIN, each Avian takes rightful ownership of his role in the brotherhood’s continuing story.

So, to every Avian across the globe, let us echo this call with urgency, key in, be identified and uphold the pride of our fraternity. For in a world full of echoes, the true bird must sing his unique song.

Higher claws!
