The Aviary Club of Nigeria (Lonestar Aviary) TX, United State Chapter Commissions a Borehole Project in Badagry Community, in the month of May, Year 2023.
A Testament to Service and Humanity
In the the month of May, Year 2023, under the visionary
leadership of the Global President, Dr.Bidemi Agbaje, the Aviary Club of
Nigeria successfully completed and commissioned a borehole water project for a
small, underserved community in Badagry, a coastal town and Local Government area
in Lagos State, Nigeria
This impactful initiative was carried out as part of the
club’s Community Support Program (CSP) a structured scheme developed to support
and uplift local communities through sustainable development projects. This
project has since brought immense relief to the beneficiaries reducing the
burden of water scarcity, improving hygiene and health conditions, and
enhancing the overall quality of life in the community.
By executing this project, the Aviary Club of Nigeria not
only demonstrated its deep commitment to social responsibility but also
reinforced the values of compassion, unity, and service to humanity that the
club upholds. The initiative is one among many in the club’s broader agenda of
“giving back to society”, a key pillar of its operations aimed at making
lasting contributions to the well-being of people at the grassroots level.
As part of the commissioning ceremony, the King of the village, along with members of the local community, warmly welcomed the Aviary Club and expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the life changing gesture. In his speech, the traditional ruler commended the club for their selfless commitment to humanity and described the project as a “divine intervention” that would be remembered for generations.
Speaking at the event, Global President Dr. Bidemi Agbaje
reaffirmed the club’s dedication to community development, stating: This
project reflects our belief that real change begins at the grassroots. We are
proud to stand with this community today and will continue to champion causes
that improve lives and restore hope.
The Aviary Club of Nigeria continues to serve as a beacon of unity, compassion, and positive action, with plans to replicate similar developmental projects in other communities nationwide.
