Meet Elder Bidemi Agbaje, PhD

The Eagles Eye Magazine is proud to feature the illustrious Elder Bidemi Agbaje, PhD, in this edition's Elders in Council Highlight. A visionary leader and stalwart member of the Aviary Club of Nigeria, Elder Agbaje’s journey is a testament to resilience, excellence, and commitment to community service.

Academic and Professional Excellence

Elder Agbaje’s academic accomplishments are as diverse as they are impressive. His educational journey began with an HND in Architecture from Yaba College of Technology, Lagos, Nigeria, where he was initiated into the Supreme Eiye Confraternity in February 1982. He furthered his studies in the United States, obtaining:

• A Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from the University of Minnesota,
• A Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wisconsin,
• A Master of Science in Project Management from the University of Wisconsin.

In recognition of his exceptional leadership qualities, Elder Agbaje was awarded an honorary Doctorate in Leadership by Cornerstone University, Georgia. Additionally, he holds a PMP Certification, the gold standard in project management, solidifying his expertise in his field.

Professionally, Elder Agbaje is a seasoned Construction Project Manager, known for his strategic vision and ability to navigate complex projects to successful completion.

Leadership in the Aviary Club of Nigeria

Elder Agbaje’s remarkable leadership journey within the Aviary Club has been a source of inspiration for many. After completing two tenures as the Supreme Ibaka of the Aviary Club of Nigeria, he was gloriously inducted into the Elders in Council. During his tenure, Elder Agbaje weathered numerous challenges to lay the foundation for landmark accomplishments that continue to shape the organization.

His tenure as Supreme Ibaka was characterized by resilience, decisiveness, and a relentless focus on progress. He built a powerful global organization, making strategic decisions that prioritized the well-being of the club over personal or vested interests. His ability to spot and nurture talent has empowered countless Avians to become better leaders.
