Mathias Afolabi Sagbo aka Sir Yellow Man is a prominent Avian that has stood out distinctly in every aspect of his service to the Aviary Club.  

An impactful and selfless Avian, he was the Chairman of the 11 man committee that brought the Aviary Club to the South African region. 

A leader within the club and outside of it, Sir Yellow Man is currently the Secretary General, All Progressives (APC) South Africa Chapter.

He is also currently the National

President (IYASA) Isokan-Omo Yoruba Association of South Africa. 

 

He served two times as the Secretary General of the Nigeria Union, South Africa. 

Sir Yellow Man is also an ex Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Union in South Africa.

Sir Yellow Man has been selected as the Avian of the month of January due to his outstanding impact within the club and his dedication, enthusiasm, and positive influence not only to Tshwane Aviary, but to the entire SADC Province at large. 

Mathias played several influential roles in advancing the mission of the Aviary from the inception of the Aviary Club in South Africa till date. 

When he was the Grande Ibaka - Tshwane Aviary, he was known as a supporter and leader, leading and inspiring members in Tshwane, helping Avians with several important issues. He ensured all birthdays were celebrated with gifts to the celebrants to go home with. 

A firm believer in taking good care of the internal issues by ensuring there was peace within his executives and members, his tenure was nothing short of stellar and progressive. 

A fluent communicator with a hard stance on peace and order, he was and he still remains tireless in his support to the brotherhood. 

Sir Yellow Man has a reputation of always being available to volunteer his time, resources and expertise to support this great organization. He has been of help to many people and even the SADC Provincial Council, serving on committees that cover Tshwane Aviary and other Aviaries in the region. 

Mathias has a reputation of great problem solving skills, promoting unity and fostering a sense of belonging within the organization.

A successful entrepreneur, and an employer of labour, he is a supplier of West African restaurants with dairy products. He also supplies several hotels in South Africa with dairy products. 

Sir Yellow Man is happily married to his beautiful wife and they are blessed with 4 beautiful daughters.
