In our pursuit to stand as honorable ambassadors of the Aviary Club of Nigeria, we are reminded of a fundamental truth: we cannot be part of the problems we are trying to change; we cannot afford to become what we seek to transform.
Our founders envisioned an Aviary built on peace, integrity, respect, and unity—values that elevate us above the strife and division seen elsewhere. As we know, the name Eiye once symbolized qualities that were marred over time, becoming associated with a legacy far from our founding ideals. Aviary Club of Nigeria was, therefore, established as a sanctuary for all world birds—a space that upholds the virtues of mutual respect, moral character, and responsibility.
It is essential to remember that, while every Avian is an Airlord, not all Airlords can be Avians. The transformation to Avian as a world bird marks a commitment to a higher purpose—one that requires us to embody integrity and remain steadfast in our dedication to peace. As Avians, we are bound by an obligation not only to ourselves but to the Aviary’s principles and to those who look up to us as bearers of change.
"To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment." As Avians, we strive to stand above conflict, embodying a standard that others admire. It is upon us to ensure that personal disputes—whether leadership- or business-related—are approached not with violence, but with understanding and diplomacy. Let us remember that the most significant act of strength lies not in force, but in restraint and reason.
"Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding." Avians, our metamorphosis into a club of peace demands that we set aside any inclination toward aggression and instead foster dialogue. Let us pursue solutions that elevate, that serve the greater good, and that remind the world of our commitment to positive change.
As we continue our journey together, let us carry the moral burden of our calling with honor. Our actions reflect not only on ourselves but also on the generations who will inherit our legacy.
