Opsylopsy joined Buckingham Aviary as a member in 2010 as the organisation was receiving global recognition.
Opsylopsy has always been passionate about helping people, any opportunity to perform an act of kindness, be it large or small, thrilled him so this made him strongly support the idea of having a dinner event to celebrate brothers and their families and to give back to the community. Ope has also helped world birds several times in different ways.
He took part in the planning and logistics of the first ACN Executve Converge in Oluyole Ibadan in November 2017 as GFC Buckingham. Part of the discussion deliberated on was the importance of having a National Secretariat that has now been achieved by the present Supreme Council.
Ope has always been an active member that is fully engaged in Aviary activities like charitable work, attending organised events, converges, and conclaves.
He heavily participated and was present at the chartering of Elysee Aviary in France and Moncloa Aviary in Spain to name a few.
An all inclusive and hands on leader, he also regularly gives constant support to the leadership of the Grande Councils in Europa Province.
In 2021, on the day Regal Buckingham was chartered, Ope was appointed by Provincial Ibaka Europa, who is now the SI as the Provincial Ostrich due to his active participation in Aviary activities, leadership qualities, expertise, experiences, professionalism and organisational skills.
A year later, Ope was reappointed during the Europa Council Conclave as the Provincial Ostrich.
As the Provincial Ostrich, Ope played significant roles in the Chartering of Galata Aviary in Turkey and Harp Aviary in the Republic of Ireland. During this period, he helped with organising the first Europa Converge in Kasanje Aviary in Netherlands in 2022.
The success of the Europa Converge brought the spirit of brotherhood and reconciliation back to Europa Province.
Ope’s peace loving nature and his natural knack for balancing has helped to foster brotherhood and unity throughout the Europa Province.
In April 2023, following the elevation of the former Provincial Ibaka to Supreme Ibaka, Ope stepped into the role of Provincial Ibaka, as mandated by the Aviary constitution. Since then, he has provided consistent guidance and encouragement to members, ensuring that they remain focused and united. Under his leadership, a successful Europa Converge was held at Kaiser Aviary in Germany, attracting Avians from across Europa and beyond.
As a natural philanthropist, Ope draws immense joy and fulfillment from helping those in need.
His values of kindness, generosity, and leadership align with the Aviary’s humanitarian principles, earning him respect and trust within the community.
A strong believer in leading by example and promoting teamwork, and understanding that no one individual holds a monopoly on knowledge, his all inclusive leadership style and philosophy has guided Europa Province to continuous growth and stability of the organization.
Outside of the Aviary, Ope is a proud father of four sons, who treasures the balance between his family life and his responsibilities.
From his early days as an Airlord to his current position as Provincial Ibaka, he has always answered the Eiyenal Pakola call to duty.
Ope is a man that displays a passionate and sincere wish to see the Europa Province continue to expand and thrive under his leadership for the betterment of the Aviary Club of Nigeria.
Since Ope attained the Position of the Provincial Ibaka, he has helped to maintain peace and stability within Europe and resolved grievances and conflicts with tact and moderation with a focus on fairness without being biased.
He is a leader that consistently guides, supports, and encourages all rugged brothers to remain focused.
In 2023, as PI, he organized a successful Europa converge in Kaiser Aviary Germany that was even a much bigger and better event with the full support of his executives and Europa Grande Councils.
He has also conducted successful conclaves in Elysee Aviary, Colosseum Aviary, Kasanje Aviary, Hazelaar Aviary, and Kaiser Aviary.
In recognition of his leadership qualities, he was presented with an Award of Excellence by Europa Province in 2023

Ope is blessed with a family of four boys.
