Meet Engineer John Oyakhire
Engineer John Oyakhire, popularly known in the Eiyenal World as "Aeroplane Turner" AKA Baba Ajohne, is a distinguished construction engineer and respected elder within the ACN's Elders in Council.
A proud alumnus of Iroko Nest (YABA College of Technology), Baba Ajohne’s journey has been marked by dedication, integrity, and leadership.
In 1979, he was admitted into YABA COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY and joined the Supreme Eiye Confraternity, quickly gaining a reputation as a spirited and determined young man.
Rising to the position of Flight Commandant, he served two terms, a testament to his unwavering commitment and resilient spirit.
Throughout his professional career, Engineer Oyakhire has exemplified excellence and charisma, earning the respect of both peers and mentors. These qualities eventually led to his elevation to the Elders in Council in 2013.
Baba Ajohne’s influence extends beyond his council duties. As a founding figure in Peach Aviary, the first Aviary in the North American Province, he played a pivotal role in establishing the North America Provincial Council. His contributions helped lay the foundation for multiple Aviaries across the region and the emergence of a Supreme Ibaka.
In his role within the Elders in Council, Engineer Oyakhire has been instrumental in preserving the organization's historical heritage and providing invaluable guidance to both the Elders and Supreme Councils. His unwavering dedication to unity and progress has made him an essential advisor within ACN.
Outside of his council responsibilities, Engineer Oyakhire is an avid reader and community advocate. He enjoys sharing stories of his days in the Eiye Confraternity, working on construction projects, and actively supporting local initiatives.
