Engineer Bimbo Shittu, a distinguished civil engineer and respected leader, serves as the Secretary of the Elders in Council within the Aviary Club of Nigeria (ACN). A proud alumnus of Arere Nest at the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State, Engineer Shittu began his academic journey in 1980, where his commitment to excellence and charismatic personality earned him the respect and admiration of his peers and mentors.

In 1981, Engineer Shittu was initiated into the Supreme Eiye Confraternity and quickly rose to prominence as the Ostrich of Arere Nest. Throughout his career, he has exemplified exceptional leadership, integrity, and dedication—qualities that led to his appointment as Provincial Dove of the Odua Province.

In 2013, Engineer Shittu’s steadfast commitment to the values of unity, excellence, and brotherhood earned him a place in the Elders in Council, where he has made significant contributions. As Secretary, he plays a pivotal role in maintaining the organization’s historical records, offering strategic guidance to the Elders Council and the Supreme Council. His efforts have been instrumental in fostering cohesion and unifying members across all levels of ACN.

A Voice of Wisdom and Leadership

Elder Bimbo Shittu is revered for his insight and forward-thinking approach. He often emphasizes the importance of personal growth and collective excellence, famously stating:
"We need to always be the best version of ourselves individually; that is the only way to collectively achieve the best possible version in ACN."

Outside his responsibilities within the Elders in Council, Engineer Shittu is a lifelong learner and avid reader, with a passion for expanding his knowledge. He believes that collaboration and shared wisdom are key to solving complex challenges, famously stating that "no one person holds all the answers."

As an engineer, he enjoys innovating and creating practical solutions, often tinkering with gadgets and exploring new inventions that merge creativity with functionality. His passion for engineering continues to inspire those around him.
